Argimiro recently obtained a position as associate professor (&quot;professor agregat&quot;) at the Department de Llenguatges and Sistemes Informàtics of UPC. He has had previous positions at U. Carlos III (Madrid), U. of Valladolid, and U. Simón Bolívar (Caracas). He has collaborated with the LARCA group already within the contexts of the MOISES-TA project (up to 2009) and the SESAAME project (from 2009 on). <br />

His previous work has focused mostly on descriptive complexity theory. He recently became interested in algorithms for the analysis of the web, a line he intends to intensify within the context of LARCA and the SESAAME project. <br />
