Borja Balle visits the Courant Institute, U. New York, for 6 months

Borja Balle, Ph.D. student at LARCA, has started a research stay at the Courant Institute Mathematical Sciences, of the University of New York, to continue his doctoral research on learning of finite-state machines and applications. He will be working in the group of Professor Mehryar Mohri, one of the leading experts in machine learning, computational biology, and text and speech processing and research consultant at Google. The visit will last until June 2012.
