Share Share
After defending his Ph.D. thesis last april, Albert leaves LARCA and UPC with a postdoctoral research fellowship the Department of Computer Science of University of Waikato, in Hamilton, New Zealand
The CS Deparment of University of Waikato has a world-class group in machine learning in Data Mining; among other things, the extremely successful WEKA package for machine learning and data mining was developed there.

Albert's research, under the supervision of Professors Geoff Holmes and Bernhard Pfahringer, will for the moment focus on the development of MOA (Massive On-line Analysis), a framework similar to WEKA for data streams, on-line massive data sets.
